Match Rules:
Substitutions:
1. The substitution must be completely necessary and not made to
enhance the skill of the squad for that match.
2. Substitutions must be announced by the squad leader no less than 1 hour prior to the
match.
3. All substitutions are subject to command approval.
4. The opposite squad leader for that match will be made aware of any substitutions prior
to approval so as to allow for him to voice their
opinion.
5. At least two original squad members must be present for the match.
6. Recruits without full member status can not be used as substitutions.
7. Substitutions can not be a member of an active {WC} squad. All listed in the
"Unaffiliated Pool" are pre-approved substitutes.
Re-Scheduling:
1. All requests for the re-scheduling of a match must be submitted to
the {WC} Squad Commander no less than 5 days prior to the match.
2. The match may only be delayed for a maximum of 7 days.
3. All other squad matches set to take place (including for the re-
scheduled squads) will continue with their set schedule.
4. Re-scheduling of a match will be subject to command approval.
Screenshots:
1. Screenshots must be captured for all squad matches. (This will be
the responsibility of each squad member to over ensure that the
match is counted correctly.)
2. The following criteria is required for screenshots (this applies to both turns of the
match):
a. Ideal: 1 screenshot at end of game
showing all players
with final ticket count & 1 screenshot of the top three listing.
b. Minimum: 1 screenshot at end of game
showing all
players with final ticket count.
3. All screenshots must be e-mailed to the Squad Commander by one
player within 2 days of the match. (In ZIP format please!)
Spectators:
1. Spectators can only join the server prior to the start of the squad match.
2. Prior to start of match, (with all spectators and squads on the server) screenshot must
be captured to show all in assigned to the appropriate team (red/blue/spectator).
3. Once the match is under way, any spectator joining the server or
switching teams will be removed from the server. Reasons: Upsets the
team balance, could be seen as less than honest, game continues
(players and spectators cannot change teams or status if the server
is paused) while teams wait for spectator to re-enter spectator mode,
causing ticket bleed and loss of time on the clock.
4. Spectators will not use onscreen "all chat" while observing in game. In
Ventrilo, spectators will not use the "page" function, enter chat, or post
comments regarding game play. (All spectators will move into the
Squads/Spectators channel prior to match start.)
Tie Game:
1. {WC} Squad Commander will determine whether to issue a rematch at a later date (no
longer than 5 days) or whether to issue a sudden
death match. (If the S.C. is unavailable, the decision will be made in
ranking order from available command to squad leaders.)
2. The requests of the squad leaders involved in the match will heavily
be taken into consideration regarding the decision.
3. In the event of a rematch, all match standards & members must be
the same as the initial match. (includes any substitutions) This match
will replace the initial match in order to determine a winner.
4. In the event of a sudden death, the match must take place
immediately following the initial match and the time limit will be
lowered to 10 min/turn. To determine the winner, the ticket totals of
the sudden death will be added to the initial match totals.
Two Member Match:
In the event that their are only two members of a squad available
and no substitutions could be acquired, the match may be played with a "no
vehicle" rule. (The only time a vehicle may be used is to use it for it's ammo or
health capabilities, not for transport, assault, or defense.)
Failure to Appear:
For each squad there is a minimum of two players needed to proceed with a match. Teams
should have the minimum number of players on the server no later than 30 minutes after the
scheduled match time. (Unless agreed upon by both parties). Failure to meet this
requirement will result in an immediate forfeit against the non-compliant party. A member
of command should be contacted immediately for a ruling to be made.
Substituted Players/Rejoining:
Due to the nature of the internet is is possible for players to be
disconnected from the internet or dropped from a server. Should this
happen you may substitute an eligible player to fill the spot or the
dropped player may rejoin. However, upon joining the server the player must rejoin their
respective team immediately. Anyone joining the opposing teams side for over 30 seconds
will be considered observing and will subject their team to forfeiture of the match or
replaying the map. (This includes in game team switching without a connection drop.) Due
to the sizes of some teams, it is acceptable to rotate players at the beginning of new
maps. However, this should be done in a timely manner that does not hinder the progress of
the game. In other words, please have your teammates "waiting in the wings."
